Poppy & Pals
Poppy is our resident queen bee—rescued from the meat trading Industry in Korea and is now holding down the fort at Camp Winnie and living her best life. While Poppy holds down the fort, we also welcome a rotating cast of foster pups who pass through Camp Winnie on their way to forever homes. Whether permanent or just visiting, every dog who steps paw on the farm becomes part of the family.

Poppy
Poppy is our beloved rescue pup with one heck of a story. In 2020, she was saved from the meat trading industry in Korea and made her way to the States skinny, scared, and in serious need of a few good meals. Fast forward to today, and—according to the vet—she may have overachieved just a little bit. We call it “thriving.” These days, Poppy fills her time trying to chase Becca and Jules, who love to taunt her through the window like tiny feline trolls. She’s given it her best shot a few times, but let’s just say coordination isn’t her strong suit. When she kicks into high gear, she runs like Phoebe from Friends—all limbs, no direction, and a whole lot of heart. She’s obsessed with long walks through the woods, hoarding (and disemboweling) our daughter’s stuffed animals, and snuggling with the farm babies. Well… most of them. The chickens are a bit of a question mark. We’re not sure if she wants to be their friend or turn them into an entrée. Jury’s still out.
